This pouch is about seven inches long and three inches high, and if you're light on make-up it's the perfect size (eyeliner, concealer, lipstick/gloss, mascara). It also works really well as an evening clutch.
I start with a thinner tooling leather for these - still thick enough to be durable, but not quite as stiff as the belts and larger bags. I cut, brand, treat, paint, dye and treat it again so it's extra durable. It is riveted on the sides and has a snap closure.
