Some would call me a list junkie. Problem is - this addict is always leaving her list at home. To remedy this little headache I’ve created these simple – yet oh so helpful – chalkboard tote bags.
This reversible tote features a chalk cloth appliqué. Use this just like a chalkboard to record your grocery list and daily to-do’s. It’s also a pretty great distraction if you are faced with a bored child and a long line-up.
..fabric..
Each tote is made using second-chance textiles (thrifted, repurposed, remnant, etc.). Fabrics are a cotton blend.
The goal is to give new life to discarded textiles. Because materials are vintage and/or recycled they may - on rare occasion - contain small flaws. If any noticeable flaws are found in the finished piece they will be noted in the item description.
Chalk cloth is a special type of oil cloth that behaves just like a regular chalkboard.
The 'other' fabric in the third photo is the lining fabric. There is no chalk cloth on that side of the bag - but you can flip the bag inside out to get a whole new tote look!
..care..
For small marks spot clean with damp cloth. Wash by hand for larger spills and messes.
Lay flat to dry.
..measurements..
Tote body measures 16 ½ inches tall and 15 ½ inches wide.
Straps measure 19 ½ inches and fit easily over shoulder.
Chalk cloth appliqué measures 11 inches tall and 8 ½ inches wide.
..of interest..
