Fabulous Plume Agate and Sterling Silver Necklace

This is by far, my favorite plume agate, ever. I was going to keep this for myself, but my complexion is very fair, and did nothing for this stunning cabochon. She deserves a better canvas. It originally reminded me of a field of wheat, at dusk, with the glowing periwinkle agate, but now, it reminds me of a fierce storm crashing on the shore.

I set this beauty in a pure silver bezel and added a bouquet of silver and copper to accent. I hand pierced the 20 gauge silver for texture, and dangled her from beautifully textured, silver chain. It is finished with a hand made clasp, and has been oxidized and hand polished this for a organic finish.

This is a substantial piece. The pendant measures 2 inches in length and about 1.5 at its widest point. It is a tad over 19 inches in length.
