• Predominant colours of red, turquoise blue and white
• Hand rolled edges
• 30"x30" (76 x 76 cm) square
• Charming illustrations with their names written in cursive depicting: Chrysler Bldg., Empire State Bldg., Hayden Planetarium, Museum of Natural History, Grants Tomb, Central Park, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, United Nations Bldgs., Yankee Stadium, Coney Island, George Washington Bridge, The Coliseum, Columbus Circle, The Library Lions, Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, Times Square, Idlewild Airport, Greenwich Village, City Hall, Woolworth Bldg., Chinatown, Statue of Liberty, and the New York Harbor
• I dated this scarf to be late 40s or early 50s at the latest due to the fact that the airport is labeled as “Idlewild Airport”. This airport’s name was changed to “New York International airport” back in 1948 and then changed again in 1963 to the now known JFK Airport.
• No fabric content label but it feels like silk
Good vintage condition
