printer, scissors, craft knife, bone folder or butter knife, cutting mat, ruler, pop dots, glue stick, gel glue, toothpick, circle punches and colored card stocks.
The artwork is shown above framed in an 11X14 inch shadowbox. The actual size of the finished piece is 8X10 inches. (It makes a great companion piece to my free 3D owl pattern, which is also 8X10 inches: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2010/06/20/3d-paper-owl-from-mmmcrafts/)
This frog tutorial is designed to leave as little chance of error as possible for novice paper cutters while still having a nice depth and complexity. You simply print all needed pieces onto colored card stock, cut them out on the lines, and assemble them according to the detailed photographed set of instructions and guidelines. No time-consuming tracing necessary!
The PDFs are in 8.5 x 11 standard letter format, which means you can print them from home as many times as needed to make as many of these 3D papercuts as you would like.
