This 2 ply art yarn was spun on my Schacht Matchless spinning wheel from natural white blue faced leicester wool top. BFL wool is my all-time favorite fiber to spin. It is ever so fluffy and soft and the yarn spun from it has a beautiful sheen.
For one ply of this yarn I spun the BFL wool with white sewing thread and strung along little white satin-y flowers at random intervals. There are quite a lot of flowers! So dainty and pretty. The second ply is simply the same BFL wool. When I plied them I tied and spun in little lengths of white wedding tulle (it is really plied right into the yarn - it's there to stay!). The result is this delicate, soft yarn for a special bride. :)
