Another perk to this book is a yellow ribbon bookmarker AND an index in the back organized by letter. It is also fantastically pocket-sized.
The book cloth along the spine is starched linen and slate gray in color. The cover paper makes a gorgeous match - two fantastic shades of orange (tangerine & peach) with slate gray dotted centers. I adore the clean lines of this paper and its matte finish. The design is clearly a modern take on flowers, but it also screams 4th of July sparklers to me (hence the title). Delightful!
