I use the absolute highest quality certified organic oils, organic butters and organic waxes available, and scent with organic essential oils. They are tinted using mica and oxides with the occasional glitter thrown in for fun. The Candelilla Wax I use is now ORGANIC hooray!!!
I call these balms ANANDA ORGANIC balms because they feel blissful on your mouth or cheeks and they are made using virtually all CERTIFIED ORGANIC ingredients. In a typical tube or tin, there might be 2-3 drops worth of ingredients that are not certified organic, so I really feel good about applying that word to the products I make.
This is my all-time favorite shade, it's tinted using an herb called Alkanet which, when infused into oils, creates a magical amazing RED. I've infused it into organic cold pressed Hemp and Castor oils, creating a sweet, sheer red, perfect for Spring or any season really. No mica, oxides, or shimmer. I use organic essential oils for fragrance, please choose from Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Rose Geranium, or my newest scent, Chamomile.
