Presenting a great mid-century reference set of 3 volumes of "The Practical Encyclopedia of Good Decorating and Home Improvement". Copyright 1970, Published by Greystone Press. These books are full of hundreds of color photographs, black and whites, and drawings of 60's modern interiors, exteriors, and everything in between. So many of the great mid-century designers are represented here. The saturated colors in these 60's rooms are amazing. The vibrant yellows, kelly green, blues, pinks, reds, oranges, are so well paired with neutrals. I want to redecorate my entire house after looking through these books!
The encyclopedias are much more than just pretty pictures. There is practical information about how-to projects, design tips, home maintenance, outdoor living and gardens, lighting, tools, materials, remodeling and renovating on a budget, and hundreds of other topics. The dust jackets have some wear and a few of the pages have been dog-eared, but the books are in very good condition overall.
