These gorgeous, delicate earrings have been tatted in salmon pink cotton thread and are part of my Frivolite Victorian Collection. I wanted a Victorian name so I chose 'Mina' after the heroine in Bram Stoker's Dracula, one of my favourite stories. These would look great accompanying a sparkly evening dress or maybe a fancy dress costume.
Thirty transparent rainbow coloured seed beads adorn each earring, which is then finished at the base with a clear Swarovski Crystal faceted drop.
Each earring is just over 3/4 of an inch (22mm) wide by slightly under 1 3/4 inches (44mm) long (including beads). They are attached to sterling silver fish hook earwires.
The beads were tatted in as I went rather than being sewn in afterwards.
