Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by hand.
Individually drawn and painted, this piece is made
in a limited edition of 25. Each piece is signed
and dated by the artists, Dylan and Jo.
Gerard is made of quilter’s muslin
that has been painted and sanded, then painted and
sanded again, giving the fabric a rich patina that
feels like old leather. He is embellished with antique
white buttons and a handmade bow tie.
His arms and legs are button jointed, allowing him
to be posed and sit nicely on his own.
The exact doll pictured has been sold, but we've already begun work on the next one in the series. It will look like the one pictured, but allow for minor differences since they are all hand painted. Once payment is received, please give us about a week to finish it for you.
