never did find out carl's wife's name. on any record, she was referred to as mrs. carl. but i do know that she loved her silver. it wasn't incredibly fancy...girl after my own heart...but had just the right shape and detail to make it beautiful. in my imagination, she picked up a piece from every hotel she and carl visited...


this listing is for the engraved glass and silver server. the patina on this is beyond words. i imagine chilled iced tea served on a cool porch in the heat of summer
