This tiny original miniature painting of a pair of ruby slippers was inspired when I saw a pair of replica ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz under a glass yellow brick road 'treasure floor' inside the casino on "Adventure of the Seas", a Royal Carribean cruise ship that I enjoyed travelling on with my sister's family several years ago.
I've named this miniature painting "Ruby Slipper Wishing Shoes" because of how items under the glass treasure floor in the ship's casino get 'rubs' for good luck! Please see view three to appreciate the detail under magnification that is painted into less than 4 square inches!
