A textile ornament of a baby hare to display fondly in your home.
Litter sure surprised the mother hares one day when they saw their little ones playing with a new friend in the meadow. He was making small peeing noises and rather loud at times! Gosh! they were all rather concerned! When asked where his mama was he replied that she was back at the nest with his many brothers and sisters and today he didn’t want to go for a swim, again, so he chose the meadow instead. He had a few feathers stuck to him and the mamas realized that he must have been taken in by Mrs Duck. Litter, never the less, was a very happy hare and he made the others laugh with his rather strange walk, more like a waddle. He invited his new friends down to the Loch side to learn how to swim and a couple were very eager to go.
Litter has been made with great care and he has safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, he is not recommended for very young children and is not a toy.
Litter would love to sit on a low shelf so that he may visit the pond and meadow often. He’s accepted the fact that he won’t grow wings like his brothers and sisters and he loves to swim every day (then play in the grass!).
He is made of a printed cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).
He stands approx 16.5cm high and 12cm wide. In inches – 6.5” x 5”
Litter is excited about his journey and is really looking forward to his forever home
He also wants you to know that baby hares are called leverets.
