Vintage 1930's-40's Wizard Spell Book Bookplates Set of 25 in Original Box

This listing is for a great little set of twenty five (25) book plates in their original box, I believe to be from the 1930's or very early 40's. Back when books were collected and shared, bookplates were pasted inside the book so that the borrower would remember who they belonged to, and hopefully return them. The box matte black with a black bottom. These are the most unusual bookplates that I have seen and that is why I bought them many years ago. They show a wizard studying what appears to be a spell book. The curtains along the bookshelf have astrological symbols on them. The area for the name is below the picture. I felt that these could possibly be the artwork of Juanita Gould, but I cannot say for certain. Plates appear as a deep cream and black, this is from age. Box is in perfect condition with no wear on edges, no broken corners or sides. The plates themselves are thick, strong and perfectly use-able.
