Intended to be hung over a table in a kitchen or dining room, it will come with its original metal (and lightly pitted) chain but you may prefer to add a longer or shorter one depending on your particular needs.

Please note: while this light works perfectly well, a section of the cord was woven in duct tape, presumably to protect a weak wire. I would recommend rewiring it prior to use.
