This adorable and dainty necklace is the color of the sky. This is a vintage traditional Minakari-style pendant in a light sky blue color. The front has a pretty design in turquoise, red, and silver. A clear rhinestone sits in the middle of the pendant. I have a attached a riot of seed pearls and turquoise seeds beads that dangle from the three loops at the bottom. The sides and back of this petite pendant are green. I have also wirewrapped the pendant to a beautiful light blue cathedral cut glass bead and attached it to a 17 inch long raw brass chain. An antiqued gold lobster clasp secures the necklace. This necklace is very light and rather petite, but eye-catching. Wear a piece of traditional Indian jewelry!
Minakari is the ancient art of enameling metal with bright colors, introduced to India by the Mughals.
All necklaces are adjustable--if you want it longer or shorter, please let me know when you make your order.
Please note that since the pendant is vintage, there is some tarnishing on the back (see picture), although not the front. It by no means detracts from the unique beauty of the pendant.
