I would call this an intermediate level tatting pattern that uses two shuttles, rings, chains, picots, joins, lock joins, and beads. The bead work is fully explained and involves learning to "sew" a bead cluster onto your tatting, a method of adding beads I really enjoy.
The written long-hand instructions are in English. The pattern contains a scan of the earrings with the stitch count laid over the scan, as well as a pictorial diagram of the bead cluster technique in the pattern.
