This unique lacy hat gives you that summer feeling of long bright evenings, lazing in the sun, and dancing at festivals (just don't lose the hat in the mud!).
I got the gorgeous multi-coloured cotton yarn in Paris when I was travelling, and started to work out a hat pattern on the boat back to Belfast. I hand-knitted the hat in our lovely garden.
The Summer Festival Hat is big and bold, knitted loosely with bigger needles, and fits head circumferences up to 25"(63 1/2).
Jacob, one of my stylish bear models, is showing one way of wearing the Summer Festival Hat, namely sitting on the back of the head, which displays all the colours beautifully.
Please hand wash with a mild detergent in cool water and dry flat, if possible.
