These socks are hand knit out of a patterned bright wool yarn in red, orange, yellow, green and blue. The heels, toes, and ribbed tops are knit out of a lovely brown wool yarn (actually the same stuff that I use in my stodgepunk socks http://www.etsy.com/listing/42853475/custom-stodgepunk-socks ).
The length of the sock is mid to upper calf length, depending on the length of your legs. I have pretty long legs and the sock comes to about 2 1/2 inches below my knee.
The foot size is a women's medium; I think this one will fit from a 7 to a 9 pretty comfortably.

Recommended care is handwash, dry flat.
