Route 66 - the American legend that so many families made their road trips on for decades.
This fragrant ornament/lavender sachet has an image of an old neon sign of the 66 Diner (I'm sure there were numerous little stops named "66 Diner" between Chicago and Los Angeles)on the front, and the back is a pale blue chambray. You can use this as a hanging ornament or hang it in a closet, or place it in a drawer for continued release of the fragrant dried organic lavender that fills the piece. There's a piece of red grosgrain ribbon with a red bead on top of the piece to hang it up with.
The rectangular piece is 3-1/4" (8.3cm) wide by 3-1/4" (8.3cm) high, and I've put over 3 tablespoons of dried organic lavender buds inside the ornament/sachet, along with a little bit of polyfil to plump it out. After you notice that the scent is not as pronounced, simply squeeze to release more fragrance from the buds.
I made this piece in my pet-free and smoke-free home and it has not been used. The ornament will be sent to you in a sealed plastic bag so that you will receive all the benefit of the wonderful scent, not the USPS!
