Butterfly Shawls - The butterfly lace shawl is not triangular, rather it is a ‘batwing’ design. This allows the sides of the shawl to drape over your shoulders and stay there. This shawl is a one of a kind piece - piece # 210. It is lovingly crocheted using a combination of various threads, giving it a very unique look. The shawl measures 60” across the top, and 36” from center back to the bottom point.
The last photo in the series will give you a great closeup of the colours used.
Butterflys can be worn draped around the shoulder with the point at the side for an elegant look or in the standard fashion. Either way, it is a stunning piece.
Although the shawl can be machine washed on a delicate cycle, I prefer to hand wash and dry them flat. They should not be stored on a hangar - rather they should be folded and placed in a drawer.
