Neighborhood coffee shops cultivate an allure of community. Ducking into a dimly lit cafe, current read under arm for an afternoon of mindful travel or engaging in an aware-filled conversation with a close friend or acquaintance highlights relationships built and symbolized by a simple cup o' joe.

Created from a jute bag, this tote was originally a sack carrying coffee beans to the cafe in my hometown! The interior features coffee conversation starters and a pocket.

This tote was upcycled from a reclaimed coffee sack and left-over fabric from a custom order. I also used an upholstery fabric scraps and cloth belt. I sewed this tote in my non-smoking, kitty-friendly, Chicago home studio.
