the flower is bonded to a high quality gold plated ring with a flat pad for gluing cabochons after sanding (maximize adhesion). I use a glue that could bond metals so it stays on even when drop to the floor. (I have tested from from a height of 1m.)
If somehow it drops off, (someone steps on it...or you accidentally placed a huge load of grocery on top of it...etc) I could easily guide you to fix it.
