Because coconut oil is solid at room temperature, I have to keep this oil warm for 6-8 weeks while it "brews"(I keep it on my stove top). Each small batch (about 20 four oz jars)is slightly different, but all are captivating and luxurious....
You can use this on your skin, your scalp, your hair, heck I even made shortbread out of it (I really did, it was delicious). If it is in solid form, it will melt on contact with your skin. A little will go along way because it is pure oil, nothing added (except for the herbs that were infused in it- you can still see some vanilla bean flecks in the bottom!). Best of all, coconut oil has a really long shelf life due to it being naturally antimicrobial/anti-viral/antibacterial- so no preservatives!
Safe for babies and children (works wonders on cradle cap) as there is nothing added to this pure oil.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
This oil will turn to liquid at temperatures above 75 degrees.
Put it somewhere cooler to solidify again.
Granulation may occur (little lumps form)- this does not affect the quality of the oil.
