~Charles Dickens
This little cottage was hand-painted, aged, and varnished. The scalloped roof was cut by hand from acrylic felt and has been adorned with a chimney that was created from a wooden spool. The doors and windows were cut from salvaged pages of a 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens. The door features a wreath that I created from pompoms and the widows have sequins snowflakes. A tiny button doorknob and handmade papier mache window box that reads 'welcome home' complete this unique house.
This house is about 8 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
