This piece is titled, "VIRTUE ADRIFT," and is a wonderful, weathered, aged to perfection, neck piece made from an antique cake mold. I fashioned a new plate from tin and etched the title of the piece on it. It is riveted to the back of the piece with copper rivets. On the inside of the mold, I began with an antique cabinet photograph, of a lady with a great pair of eyes, and suspended her in resin behind an early 20th century book page. I then added a second layer of resin and suspended silver micro beads along the inside edge, and white mica flakes throughout the piece. The piece is attached to a hand-built annealed stainless steel chain that has a Victorian keyhole, and antique sewing scissors attached as a clasp. The pendant part measures app. 3" x 2.25" in diameter, and the total length including the chain is app. 22." Though made from metal and resin it is fairly lightweight, and quite comfortable to wear. You will definitely turn heads with this piece, so I hope you like attention! Enjoy!

Because I work with vintage elements and assemble each piece by hand, you will be getting a piece that is truly ONE-OF-A-KIND.
Each is made of various vintage and found objects that I have cleaned, repaired as much as possible, and reassembled. Because the parts are vintage, there may be some slight wear, missing jewels, or parts may have slight nicks or dings. However, I choose pieces that are in overall good condition- In other words, I don't use junk, and besides, it adds to the charm.
