From my personal collection, this cloisonne lamp is one of my absolute favorite finds. In mint condition, it features a colorful floral design (with butterflies!) and I love the graphic green pattern at the bottom.
Cloisonne is an antique technique where thin strips of metal (in this case, brass) are soldered onto the piece, and then each resulting field is filled in with an enamel paint. It is then fired in a kiln. This cloisonne lamp features a fabulous array of bright colors and is completely hand painted. It has a dark wooden round base (with a felt bottom to protect your table) and a polished brass cap.
Lamp shade NOT included, but the one in the image is 14" diameter x 8" high.
lamp measures 17" to the top of the socket and 21.5" to the top of the harp.
