This is a hand embroidered image of an abstract grid design. The design is both modern and organic. It could represent anything from patterns in nature to a circuit board. It was stitched on to a background of soft off-white linen fabric. It was then stretched over a wood embroidery hoop and covered over on the back with a swatch of floral fabric to give it a finished look.
The hoop measures about 6.25 inches (15.875 cm) across. The entire piece is very light so it won't be hurting any toes if it slips off the wall. It can easily be hing on the back with something as light as a thumb tack. The hoop is painted a deep purple to contrast with the red in the design.
