Outstanding old specimen from the late twenties. Small Underwood Standard Four Bank typewriter, last patent date 1926. Full metal casing a most uncommon deep cherry faux bois print. All mechanical parts on the typewriter are working brilliantly. Ampersands and fractions, @ key, are all quite exceptionally handsome. Bell is a charm. Single owner from the 30s to the recent present. This typewriter does have settings for red, black, and correction, though currently, is operating happily with an all black ribbon.
In good condition, very good working order, this is a well used, and well cared for machine. Endearing, visible, wear and chips to the finish, exposing strips of a deeper red under the wood print, and finally, the metal beneath it.
