Here’s an interesting vintage 1950s leather jacket in an unusual color, a lovely light powder blue with a soft sheen to it. It is cut in a swing shape. It has a less than ¾” sleeve, the sleeve actually ends above the elbow. It is cuffed and the cuff can be put down but it does appear to be original to the jacket. It is dolman sleeved and the lining is a blue striped acetate fabric. It has an unusual aurora sequin and pearl applied collar. I believe this collar may have been added a long time ago, it has been well sewn on. The lining is slightly longer, I’m not sure why, but this can be hemmed up just a little. Perhaps the jacket went through a cleaning process and the leather shrunk a little. There is also one teeny hole on the left shoulder. The lining is in great shape and the leather is soft and supple. Please rely on the following measurements for fit.
Bust: 40"
Bottom stretched out from end to end: 46”
Shoulders: 16”
Sleeve: 12”
Overall Length: 24”
A very original leather jacket, which is sure to be noticed!
