This dress is created with two separate pieces. The underskirt is made up of three different layers. The bottom layer is a beautiful ivory satin that is covered with a layer of ivory organza. The top layer is made up of gorgeous creamy white leaves that are completely lined and extend around the entire dress. The three layers are gathered together into a waistband that attaches with two large hook and loops. The bodice is completely lined. It is constructed of a creamy green satin. Additional darker leaves are made from a silk-like flowing fabric that comes up the bodice and drapes around the skirt. The creamy white leaves at the neckline are securely sewn along one side and secured with two invisible snaps to the other side of the bodice. The shoulder straps are constructed of sheer nude organza. The straps insure that the dress stays in place and still looks exactly like Tiana’s original dress in the movie. The water lily snaps on at the hip and is constructed of the same fabric as the underskirt and finished with a twirling vine that drapes down the skirt.
This listing also includes the headband. ***This dress is pictured with a full petticoat underneath. We feel strongly that this gown looks its best with a petticoat, so we are including it in the cost of the dress.
All seams are finished by serging and straight stitched for strength and a professional finish. Nothing is left unfinished- avoiding any itchiness that would cause discomfort. We press each piece as it is assembled for the best possible appearance when complete.
Our items are completely custom made. After purchase, the buyer will receive an email with instructions on obtaining measurements. This dress can be made in girl’s sizes 2-14. Please convo us if you need alterations made to the pattern for a child with special needs. Every little girl deserves to feel like a princess!
When the payment and measurements have been received we will begin construction of the item. Sales tax is calculated at checkout through Paypal.
Please allow 8-10 weeks for completion. We will ship your items for free with standard delivery through the USPS. If a costume is needed earlier, please contact us regarding availability and expedited shipping charges.
