MAURITANIAN

White polished bone 12mm mala beads strung on expandable cord with a very large and increasingly rare Mauritanian carved conus shell bead snugged up to a large old conch shell bead from Nagaland. We have added a hammered sterling sliver floating ring to bring a little sparkle to the wrist.

Made with expandable cord approximate size 7"

NAGA BEADS : These beads are named after the tribal people of Northeast India (who live in Nagaland and also Burma). They are called Nagas. Nagas love conch shells and they have been wearing beads and jewelry for many centuries.
