"Vintage Reproduction"
This dress is a vintage reproduction from the original pattern.
This smart looking one piece daytime or afternoon dress from the mid-1940's. The skirt has inverted pleats at side front and side back and can be done in either contrasting fabric or monotone. The skirt joins the blouse at waist-line. Blouse has applied shaped yoke and narrow notched revers (lapels that fold back to show inside fabric) cut in one piece which can also be done in contrasting fabric as shown on sample or the fabric can all be the same.
A perfect dress for the office or for afternoon outings.

Material shown on sample: Vintage repro fabric from a Civil War line of fabrics which features tiny black stars on a tea dyed field and plain black cotton muslin for the double collar, cuffs and pleat insets.

ALL SIZES AVAILABLE but not every style lends itself to every body type. If you are unsure if this style will fit your frame, ask me. We may be able to come up with a plan and make alterations so it will fit your body type.
When at all possible I strive to use vintage buttons, buckles, zippers, notions and snaps on all my garments, so some differences in fabrics and options could change depending on availability of materials.
WASH & CARE: Dry clean recommended or hand wash in cold water with delicate fabric soap and hang dry to keep dress looking newer longer.
