Carnelian Marcasite Sterling Silver Art Deco Ring Large

Exceptional antique Art Deco ring with a genuine red orange carnelian stone set in sterling silver. Rows of sparkling marcasite set in a step pattern flank each side of the prong set carnelian with the band having an engraved design at the base of the shank. Hallmarked sterling, the ring is big and of superior quality.

The ring is a size 5 1/2 with the face measuring 5/8". Due to the marcasite on the side, the ring has a very big feel when wearing. Very good condition with no chips or nicks to the curved carnelian stone...all corners and lines are crisp. The sterling has a beautiful aged patina with all the marcasite present. An outstanding antique ring.
