this pocketbook organizer opens up like a book to reveal a spot for each of your essentials. in the front is a zipper pocket where you can keep your change, your keys, some cash, or even your mp3 player. next are 6 card slots for all your membership and credit cards. that's followed by a slot for a pen and a pocket for paper money, receipts, coupons, or anything else you might need. and in the back is a notebook for quick doodles, grocery lists, and jotting down all your brilliant ideas before you forget them.
room for everything you need in a small package, this organizer measures about 6 1/2 X 4 inches (16.5 X 10.2 cm) and about an inch thick (2.5 cm). it stays closed with a twill tape loop and button. for this one i've used a hemp and organic cotton blend that i hand-dyed myself using low-impact dyes in shades of brown, purple, and green.
the replaceable jotter notebook that's included was lovingly made by Leslie of Comfortable Shoes Studio. you can buy replacements directly from her. she hand-makes these Moleskin Cahier-sized notebooks using recycled material for the covers. she's wonderful to work with and makes awesome things.
