I introduced the Mason Jar Light Strand design to Etsy originally as a way to upcycle old jars I hauled home from a dump site. But by using my hangers along with your recycled jars or inexpensive jars purchased near you, you can *SAVE* considerably with shipping costs! This order ships for $2.60!
An example of the order you will receive is shown in the 4th photo listed. I provide the 6 handmade wire handles sets so all you need to do is attach them to your REGULAR MOUTH/ Standard size jars.

**DIY instructions on how to recreate my Original Mason Jar Party Light Design**

I used a cotton clothes line cord when I hung the lanterns. Clothes line cord is very inexpensive, and you may choose to use wire, or use some other line that is at the event already. You will just want to make sure that the ends are secure and tight, to handle the weight of the jars. Simple "S" hooks for the lanterns work well. I actually used salvaged curtain rod hooks that work great also!
To hang the mini lights and lanterns, I draped the strand of lights over the cord, and then put a portion of the strand in the jars, as I went. You can spread the jars out more, and use less lights in them, or hang them closer together, and use more lights in the jars. The strand of lights allows more lights to be attached also, so you could easily add additional lights, or add another set of the hanging lanterns/light sets also.
If you don't have your own recycled jars or canning jars, they can be purchased inexpensively at thrift stores, grocery or hardware stores, or stores like Walmart.

Wire handle sets fit most Regular Mouth Mason canning jars (which are approximately 2.5' in diameter across the top). They fit half gallon down to half pint size, or any canning jar with a Standard Mouth opening.
