This quintessential vintage Pyrex set will do the trick while adding a pinch of cheeriness to all your cooking and baking!
The Primary Colors 400 Series (also known as Multi-colored and Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue) set of four mixing bowls was produced by Pyrex starting in the 1940s and continuing up until the 1970s. Pretty enough to go from kitchen counter to dining room table, the set includes:
-small blue bowl: 1.5 pints (0.7 liters) / 3.25 inches (8.3 cm) tall and 5.5 (14 cm) inches in diameter
-medium red bowl: 1.5 quarts (1.4 liters) / 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) tall and 7 inches (17.8 cm) in diameter
-large green bowl: 2.5 quarts (2.4 liters) / 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) tall and 8.5 (21.6 cm) inches in diameter
-extra-large yellow bowl: 4 quarts (3.8 liters) / 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) tall and 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter
On the bottom of each bowl (in varying degrees of clarity), it reads:
"T. M. Reg
PYREX
U. S. Pat. Off."
With the fall and winter holiday cooking and baking coming up, this classic vintage Pyrex set is perfect for your kitchen work and vintage decor!
Condition of Items:
-Small blue bowl: Very good vintage condition. There is some minor wear to the paint on the rim of the bowl (see pics) and a few small scratches and nicks on the rest of the paint. The inside of the bowl has normal scratches and nicks from use, but these are not heavy, and there are no stains on the white inside. The Pyrex markings on the bottom of the bowl are the most worn down of the four bowls.
-Medium red bowl: Very good vintage condition. There is some minor wear to the paint on the rim of the bowl (see pics) and a few small scratches and nicks on the rest of the paint. The inside of the bowl has some scratches and nicks from use, but less so than the blue bowl. There are no stains and still quite a bit of shine left on the white inside. It would appear that this bowl was used the least of the set. The Pyrex markings on the bottom of the bowl are easy to read.
-Large green bowl: Very good vintage condition. There is some minor wear to the paint on the rim of the bowl (see pics), but less so than the red and blue bowls. There are some small scratches and nicks on the rest of the paint. The inside of the bowl has normal scratches and nicks from use, but these are not heavy, and there are no stains on the white inside. The Pyrex markings on the bottom of the bowl are a little worn down.
-Extra large yellow bowl: Very good vintage condition. The paint along the rim is in good shape, but like the others, there are few minor scratches and nicks on the rest of the paint. The inside of the bowl has normal scratches and nicks from use, but these are not heavy, and there are no stains on the white inside. The Pyrex markings on the bottom of the bowl are easy to read.
