I hand crafted this mezuzah from fine silver (PMC). It is sculpted to look like a tall house. There are window openings, and door and step details. A star of David is on the front of the house. There is a whimsical tree on one side as of the house and a swing on the other side of the house. I've oxidized the silver in order to add dimension.
I made this unique mezuzah out of fine silver PMC, otherwise known as precious metal clay. This medium is pure fine silver and therefore will not tarnish like sterling silver. But, I suggest that the mezuzah be used in an enclosed area as there are openings in the design and therefore it is not weatherproof. The back of the mezuzah is open. This will fit a 3" scroll (not included). The mezuzah is about 5 1/4" long and 1" wide at it's widest point. In comes in a gift box with two nails for hanging.
My designs are very organic and not perfect looking on purpose. They have dings and fine lines that I think adds character. This is a totally unique design, made by hand one at a time, so if I ever make another one like it, it will never be exactly alike.

Precious metal clay (PMC) is a revolutionary material that has tiny particles of silver or gold suspended in an organic binder to make a material that can be sculpted like clay. It is then kiln fired at a high temperature to remove the binder and produces an object that is pure silver (.999)
