The pendent was handmade from a paper thin sheet of brown stoneware clay. It was rolled into a free form scroll and then fired.
Next the chocolate brown glaze with a golden sheen was applied and it was fired again to 2232 degrees Fahrenheit in an electric kiln.
A THIRD GOLD firing was done using 24 carat gold on the rolled edges of the pendent. This gold costs $23 for 2 grams, but is worth every penny:>)
It hangs on a 24"dark brown waxed cotton cord that fits over your head, with double adjustable knots so you can make it any length you want, every time you wear it.
Very light weight and comfortable to wear. I promise you will get a compliment when you wear it.
This piece measures approximately 3 1/2 inches ( 8.9 cm) tall and 3/4 inch (1.8 cm) wide.
