Originally dyed for a yarn store in Darke County, Ohio – Annie Oakley’s hometown – this colorway references vintage posters of her “Wild West Show” It is muted but not pastel including the bright reddish peaches of the posters, and the powder blue that is her signature color. To that I added a base of brown and sepia. This colorway is old-timey without being old fashioned!
Yarn Details –
This yarn is a next-to-skin soft blend of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon. It is durable enough to handle socks but soft enough to be appropriate for lace or other garments. I only use the highest quality base yarns that I would want to knit with myself!

Fingering Weight
7-8 Stitches = 1” on #1-3 needles
Machine wash cold, lay flat to dry
All destination yarns are dyed with professional acid dyes for wash fast results. I am extremely careful to make sure that all of the dye is set, however as with any hand dyed yarn it is a good idea to hand wash items separately the first time just to be safe.
