A great 1950s navy blue nautical style dress. The dress has a beautiful sailor bib style collar, complete with embroidered seagull and sailing boat motifs. The dress buttons to the bodice with three fabric covered buttons, with a hook and eye attachment at the waist and a below waist zipper. The dress looks and feels like raw silk, with the skirt fully lined in lightweight black cotton fabric. The skirt is a wiggle style, with a kick pleat in the back. The short sleeves allow for a folded cuff and the dress comes complete with its original self fabric-covered belt.
