3 pieces from the Horn and Hardart Restaurants or Automats, and Baking Company. 2 of these, forks, are marked "Property of Horn & Hardart Co." They are marked on the back "Horn & Hardart" and a W. The forks are very tarnished and look like there is a lot of plate loss, as well as dings and scratches. The spoon looks younger, and is marked "Horn & Hardart Baking Co," on the front, and "Victor A1+ Overlay" on the back. Less tarnish and wear, but lots of scratches and dings.
One tarnished and very worn table spoon marked "The Yorktowne" made my Oneida Hotel Plate.
One teaspoon from from the Shelton Hotel. This is marked on the front of the handle with a shield shaped monogram of SH, and on the back with Shelton Hotel. This spoon is tarnishing very nicely, with a mellow brassing to the bowl and soft blue tones to the tarnish in the handle. A very pretty piece.
One teaspoon marked Childs by Oneida Hotel Plate. The handle of this one is bent a little and shows some wear. But the script on "Childs" is very pretty, as is the shape of the handle.
There is also a chrome child's spoon, marked, it looks by hand, with the name 'Darla.' I don't think this is hotel silver, but what the heck. This is scratched and worn.
I can see this set being used for crafts or jewelry making, or used in a shop or in the home to scoop beads, ingredients, or bath soaps!
Because of the vintage, well worn nature of silverplate, all silverplate is sold as is.
