This print is of an actual painting that is part of a very successful series of food still-life paintings. The butterscotch krimpet tastykakes are considered to Philadelphians, a treasure. I recently started reproducing paintings on my swanky new printer that uses expensive archival pigment based inks that will not fade over the decades. The quality of the image has prompted a few people to ask if these prints are in fact paintings. No, but the detail shows clearly that there's no dot pattern.
This print is actually the same size of the original oil painting :(6"x6" image) on 8x10" paper and shipped protected in clear acid free sleeves and ready for framing. They look great in groupings too!
