TITLE: "Pretzels"
MEDIUM: Hi quality, Archival Print
The image for sale is available as a response to the amount of interest in my art at www.mikegeno.com.
This print is of an actual painterly drawing made with very thick application of Oil Pastels. This was part of a series of food still lifes that was focusing on "local" food, the soft pretzel being Philadelphia's cherished starchy snack.
I recently started reproducing my work on my swanky new printer that uses expensive archival pigment based inks that will not fade over the decades. The quality of the image has prompted a few people to ask if these prints are in fact paintings. No, but the detail shows clearly that there's no dot pattern.
This reproduction of the original drawing has an image size of 5x 6.5" , centered on 8x10" paper and shipped protected in clear acid free sleeves and ready for framing.
Prints are SHIPPED USPS PRIORITY (2/3 day delivery)US & Canada=same price.
Im a practicing, professional artist, teaching at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. See my resume online to see my exhibition record.
