Hexe is a primitive folk art witch make-do made of muslin that has been coffee stained, lightly sanded, and rubbed with cinnamon to give her a primitive, time-worn look. She is handmade by Stephanie Baker of Old World Primitives using a Kentucky Primitives design. She measures approximately 25" high.

Hexe's face has been stuffed and secured onto a vintage wooden bobbin base with stained twine to tie it in place. Her eyes are hand sewn on with stained embroidery floss, her nose is hand sewn with a pinch stitch, and her mouth is formed by three rusty safety pins. Hexe's hair is made of twine that has been stained and painted black. Her hat is made of muslin that has been coffee stained, painted black, sanded, and rubbed with cinnamon. Bits of real dried moss are attached here and there as decorative trim on her old wooden base.

Hexe would love to haunt your Halloween decor or join a collection of everyday witches.
