We first made this lovely band at the request of one of our Etsy customers – the perfect marriage of white and yellow gold!
Measuring 5mm in width, this 14k gold band is comprised of three smaller bands: a white gold hammered band in the center, approximately 3mm wide, with polished yellow gold stepped edges, approximately 1mm wide each, on either side. The band is approximately 1.5mm thick.
Your ring will be made from scratch: Dan will alloy an ingot of gold, pour it, hand roll it and finish it to your preference. Because the metal is cold worked, hand forged bands like this one are denser and stronger than bands that are cast.

The center white gold band as pictured is hammered in our "waterfall" style; but our "cobblestone" or "pebble" hammering styles, shown in some of our other listings, are alternative options.

We can make these bands for you in any of the following metals:
* platinum
* palladium
* 14k gold: X1 white, palladium white, rose, or yellow
* 18k gold: X1 white, palladium white, or royal yellow
* 21k yellow gold
REGARDING WHITE GOLD & PALLADIUM: we typically make our white gold bands with X1 alloy, which renders the bands extremely white and durable, with no need to rhodium plate. We also are able to make the bands in palladium white gold, which is softer and a bit greyer in color. Palladium 950 is an alternative to platinum, but softer than X1 white gold. The hard qualities of X1 white gold make it an especially good choice for a man's wedding band.
