This pillow is handmade from butter soft 100% cream and taupe checked wool fabric, front and back. The pumpkins have been hand pieced using hues of rich paprika, cinnamon, orange, moroccan spice stripe and bittersweet, and then applied with a blanket stitch.
These jewels of Autumn have been hand embroidered using a variety of stitches that include...Spider web, Filling stitch, French knots, Feather stitch, Cable chain stitch, Fly stitch and Free Hand flower/vine bead work that is embellished with glass beads and crystals.
A small bead spider has taken up residence on top of a pumpkin.
The Pillow edge is trimmed in a Glass Beaded Blanket Stitch in earthy shades of chestnut and amber glass beads.
The pillow insert is 100% poly-fill supreme.
