One of my customers mentioned to me how smooth my tile coasters were, "like a worry stone" she said. At that time, around the holidays, I lost my mother unexpectedly and had been struggling with feeling alone. So I was intrigued by the idea of a worry stone and using my 2 x 2 smooth travertine tiles for a soothing stone.
This is a 2 x 2 travertine tile with a smooth surface and I have hand stamped in a light sage green color a tree as a background with the words "You are not alone." I have added thin layer of paper cork to the backside to finish the piece off.
Keep this stone in your pocket, purse, by your computer or wherever and when you are feeling alone, hold onto this stone and remember you are never alone.
Each stone comes gift wrapped in a clear cello bag with kraft brown paper shreds to protect the stone. The bag is tied off with a matching ribbon (ribbon color will match stone design but will defer from the ribbon used in the photo) along with a gift tag attached to the ribbon with the above soothing stone quote.
This would make a nice gift for someone who is going through a difficult time, grief, chemotherapy, sickness, etc.
