This Jezabel is made of stripes of green velvet and black satin. The top of the crown is black stretch satin. The top edge of the crown is trimmed with heavy black Venise lace.
The hatband is pleated black taffeta. The brim is green velvet on top and on the underside it is black crushed velvet with an overlay of black lace.
In the back are loops of black satin edged and backed with green changeable taffeta. Under that is an assortment of black plumes and a peacock feather.
Topping it off is a long tulle mourning veil. The veil is attached with a crystal hat pin so it can be bustled up in the back or removed altogether. The pictures show a couple of ways of wearing the veil.
